Our Dance Studio Philosophy

At Dance Moore Studios, we believe that great dancers are built from the ground up—starting with solid technique that lays the foundation for lasting skill. Our training philosophy blends structure with creativity, strength with grace, and discipline with joy. Whether you're just starting out or pushing toward peak performance, we cultivate a fun, supportive atmosphere that challenges dancers to become the strongest, most expressive versions of themselves.
We’re more than just a studio—we’re a movement. A place where giggles coexist with grit, and where every leap, turn, and stretch is a step toward confidence and character. Our goal is to inspire a love for dance that lasts, while pushing each dancer to grow—not just in ability, but in mindset, resilience, and community spirit.
Come dance with us—and discover how powerful you can be when technique and joy take center stage.
Danni Moore
Creative Director
My dance journey began at age seven in Detroit, Michigan, where I trained in ballet, jazz, and modern and quickly rose to lead roles in my studio. Always the youngest in the room, I embraced leadership early—performing as a child in The Nutcracker with both the Moscow Ballet (Arabian) and Cincinnati Ballet (Party Guest) before the age of fifteen. In high school, I choreographed student pieces for our recital, laying the groundwork for a creative voice that’s followed me through every stage.
At Michigan State University, I danced with the Repertory Dance Company for two years and trained under renowned instructors from across the country. Later, I joined the university’s dance club, choreographing solos and ensemble pieces for a spirited team of 30. After college, I performed professionally with the Detroit Pride Cheerleaders—the official team for the Detroit Lions—where I choreographed sideline routines and expanded my network into paid performances and teaching opportunities. I also danced en pointe with the contemporary ballet company Ballet Edge, further deepening my technical and performance range.
Throughout my training and career, I’ve assisted and taught ballet, tap, and jazz, while also contributing as a judge and coach for collegiate dance teams, pageants, and competitive solo and group routines.
Today, I’m channeling that experience into building a dance studio and competitive team rooted in growth, excellence, and inclusivity. Through strong branding, trial classes, and meaningful outreach, I’m creating a space where young dancers are challenged and celebrated—from first plié to final performance
