Summer Intensive
We are pleased to announce our first Summer Intensive Series. Each intensive is one week long with a specific focus on a particular style. Classes are small, no more than 12 students, allowing for each dancer to receive feedback and on the spot correction as needed. Various equipment will be used and upon departure, sent home with the student. Intensives are designed for children 7-13, focusing more on skill than age. If your child is outside of the age range, please email us at info@dancemoorestudio.com

Ballet 1
June 8-12, 2026 | 1-4PM Daily
This focused ballet intensive is designed for dancers ready to deepen their technique and strengthen their understanding of classical training. Throughout the week, dancers will refine body placement, build clean and efficient technique, expand their ballet terminology, and practice proper stretching and warm‑up habits. Classes emphasize discipline, musicality, and studio etiquette, helping dancers develop confidence, consistency, and a strong technical foundation. With daily instruction and individualized feedback, students leave the intensive feeling more aligned, knowledgeable, and prepared for their next level of training.
JAZZ 1
June 22-26, 2026 | 1-4pm Daily
This high‑energy jazz intensive is designed for dancers looking to build power, precision, and confidence in their movement. Throughout the week, dancers will focus on dynamic stretching to increase flexibility and mobility, strength‑based conditioning, and the technique behind clean, controlled leaps and turns. Classes emphasize musicality, performance quality, and proper alignment to support safe, powerful execution. With focused instruction and daily practice, dancers leave the intensive feeling stronger, more explosive, and ready to take their jazz technique to the next level.

Musical Theater
July 27-31, 2026 | 1-4PM Daily
This playful, performance‑driven intensive invites young dancers to explore the world of musical theater through movement, voice, and creative storytelling. Throughout the week, dancers will use imaginative play to build confidence, learn to combine expressive movement with spoken and sung moments, and practice thinking on their feet in fun improvisational exercises. Classes focus on stage presence, character work, and commanding the space with energy and intention. By the end of the week, dancers will feel more expressive, more confident, and more connected to the joy of performing.
If you’d like, I can also shape this into a shorter promo version that highlights the creative play and performance elements.
